Going to the State Fair is somewhat of a tradition for Geoff and I because we are lucky enough to get free tickets from his pops. In fact we had our engagement pictures taken at the fair last year (see my favorite below).
Because it was such a hot day we arrived at the opening did a quick tour of the outside and then made our way into the cool building that housed lots of fun and quirky goodies.

This year's theme was "Weird, Wild and Wacky". I didn't see much that was weird, wild or wacky, aside from my fun-lovin' husband, but that didn't hinder our experience.

And look, we even got a pic of a famous celebrity!! See the umbrella and sunglasses - doesn't that make him a celebrity?? He seems to think so! Love you babe!!
